SESSION 2 - 2nd conditional

We use second conditional to talk about a hypothetical situation or to give advice.


If + Past simple ......................would + verb
...............................................wouldn’t + verb
(condition) .................................(result)

If you were a Babongo, you would hunt with bow and arrow
If I had enough money, I would travel to Anuta

--> Notice that if the condition verb is TO BE, we use WERE with all personal pronouns
If I were rich, I would travel to Anuta
If I were you, I wouldn’t go to the park
